Project Overview:
I created a series opener for Church of the Highlands designed to play before a Sunday began, working from a provided script to develop the complete visual design and illustration.
Visual Direction
I built the design around bold gradients and simple geometric shapes, creating a visual language that could both support and elevate the text as it revealed. Strategic placement of live footage throughout added human connection while maintaining the graphic aesthetic.
Creative Challenge
The key challenge was maintaining visual balance between two distinct elements. Designing shapes and compositions that guided viewers through the text while seamlessly integrating footage without disrupting the flow or overwhelming the message.
